Parliament passes Bio-security Law
The Bio-security Law, the first legal arrangement on Genetically Modified Organisms was passed by the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly, on Thursday.
Genetically altered plants and animals will not be produced. Those who illegally import genetically modified food or those who illegally produce them will be sent to prison.
